The Web of Fear

The Great Intelligence, last found controlling robotic Yeti in Tibet, causes the Tardis to be diverted to the London Underground. An unearthly killer mist and equally deadly Web material have forced everyone out of Central London and the Web is now spreading in the underground as well. As Yeti roam the tube tunnels, Professor Travers and his daughter Anne work in an underground fortress's new commanding officer, Colonel Allistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart (who became the Brigadier), try various tactics, but the Great Intelligence seems to know all of their plans. The Doctor must either get the control device perfected within the hour or submit to the Great Intelligence's demand: to allow the alien Intelligence to drain the Doctor's brain as a further step toward the conquest of Earth.
