Written by: Bob Baker, Dave Martin 1st Aired: 1 Jan 78-28 Jan 78 Companions: Leela, K9Location: two Minyan spaceships near a spiral nebula on the edge of a galaxy The Tardis arrives on a Minyan spaceship as it nears the en of a quest, which has lasted for 100,000 years. Back then, the Minyans destroyed their planet, but survivors got away in two ships. The crew of the first ship has been through over a thousand regenerations during its quest to find the other ship and recover the Minyan race banks two cylinders that represent the future of their people. With the Doctor and Leela now on board, they find the other ship as the center of a newly formed planet. But the descendants of the other Minyan ship are slaves who have never seen the stars. Above them in status are the guards, the Seers-and the Oracle, a computer that doesn't want the race banks recovered.
