The Time Monster

The Master and his unsuspecting assistants have developed a device called TOM-TIT (Transmission Of Matter Through Interstitial Time). Nominally meant to transport objects through "the crack between now...and now," it has all sorts of other effects, including the instant aging of the Master's assistant, Stu, and making pockets of slow time for everyone but the Doctor. TOM-TIT is powered by a crystal from ancient Atlantis, from where the Master recruits and ally, Krasis. using TOM-TIT, Atlantean secrets, the crystal and its larger counterpart in ancient Atlantis, the Master hopes to rule time and space by controlling the uncontrollable: Chronos the Chronovore-literally a devourer of time.
