Terror of The Zygons
Written by: Robert Banks Stewart 1st Aired: 30 Aug 75-20 Sep 75 Companions: Sarah Jane, HarryLocation: Earth, contemporary The Doctor is called to Earth (by the Brigadier, who has a communicator) to investigate the sinking of oil rigs in the sea near Loch Ness. Harry is shot while talking to a man who has swam ashore from a destroyed rig, and then kidnapped by his nurse-who turns out to be a shape-changing Zygon. Because these aliens no longer have a world of their own, they plan to take over Earth. Their ally is the Skarasen-aka the Loch Ness monster-which mindlessly destroys anything on which the Zygons place a homing signal. The Doctor has a plan when he slips an active homing device into his pocket, but finds that it is difficult to outrun an oversized alien reptile.
