The Sontaran Experiment

The Doctor, Sarah and Harry travel by transmat beam from Nerva Beacon to Earth so that the Doctor can effect repairs on the transmat system. They run afoul of the remnants of a human crew of a spaceship lured to Earth by a Mayday. Someone is torturing and killing the crew , and they accuse the Doctor. The truth is revealed when Sarah and a crewman are captured by Field Marshall Styre, a Sontaran, who is performing cruel experiments to determine human resistance to various stresses. Harry and the Doctor must not only save Sarah and the remaining crew members, but stop the Sontaran invasion fleet the awaits Styre's research results.
