The Seeds of Death
Written by: Brian Hayles (& Terrance Dicks, uncredited) 1st Aired: 25 Jan 69-1 Mar 69 Companions: Jamie, ZoeLocation: Earth and Moon, 21st Century The Earth depends on a matter transmission system called T-Mat. when Earth loses contact with T-Mat Control and the Moon, and T-Mat transmissions stop, the only way to reach the Moon is via Earth's only remaining manned rocket. The Doctor, Jamie and Zoe travel to the Moo o discover that the Ice Warriors have invaded the moonbase. All of T-Mat staff on the Mon are killed, except for Fewsham, who is forced to help the Ice Warriors transmit deadly seedpods to many of the Earth's major cities. unless the Doctor can defeat the Ice Warriors both on the Moon and on the Earth, the seeds will reduce the Earth's oxygen supply to Martian levels, killing all humans in the process.
