The Valeyard
The Valeyard is the prosecuting attorney in the so-called Train of a Time Lord. By changing the Matrix recordings of the Doctor's activities, he very nearly gets the Sixth Doctor convicted of Genocide and sentenced to the revocation his remaining lives-said regenerations to be awarded by the High Council to the Valeyard himself. The Master claims that the Valeyard is actually a distillation of the darker side of the Doctor "somewhere between his twelfth and final regenerations," and the Sixth Doctor accepts this with a good reason. But how would the Valeyard exist after killing his previous self and steal his own past lives.
