The Krotons
The Krotons were blind, crystalline creatures of pure tellurium. They planned to relaunch their ship called the Dynatrope which would destroy the Gonds, but the Doctor prevented this by dissolving their tellurium structure with sulphuric acid. The Dynatrope absorbed intelligence and used it as an energy source to awaken the sleeping Krotons. The minds of Zoe and the Doctor supplied the energy needed to begin the re-animation. The Kroton Machine measured the intellect of the peaceful Gonds, and they selected the most advanced to enter the machine. There they were drained of intelligence to awaken the Krotons. The Doctor released them from the Krotons when he destroyed them. The Krotons were only in The Krotons |
