Sergeant Benton

Sergeant Benton was a long-tem member of UNIT, he first met the Doctor during the Cyberman invasion and he has remained a loyal friend to him through three of his regenerations. He was originally a corporal, but he was promoted to sergeant and then to RSM.    

Sergeant Benton was in The Invasion: Episodes 1,2,3,5,6 and 8, The Ambassadors of Death: Episodes 5 and 7, Inferno: Episodes 1,2,6 and 7 (also plays Platoon Under Leader in Episodes 3 to 5), Terror of the Autons: Episode 1,2 and 4, The Mind of Evil: Episodes 2 to 6 The Claws of Axos, The Dæmons, Day of the Daleks: Episodes 1,2 and 4, The Time Monster: Episodes 1 to 4 and 6, Invasion/ Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Planet of Spiders: Episodes 1 and 2, Robot, Terror of the Zygons and The Android Invasion: Episode 4.
