The Mind Robber
Written by: Peter Ling, Derrick Sherwin 1st Aired: 14 Sep 68-12 Oct 68 Companions: Jamie, ZoeLocation: The Land of Fiction The Doctor is forced to use an emergency circuit which takes the Tardis out off time and space. Although they are literally Nowhere, Jamie sees the Highlands on the scanner, while Zoe sees her home city. The Tardis is apparently destroyed around them and they find themselves in the Land of Fiction, which is inhabited by toy soldiers, Lemuel Gulliver, Rapunzel, and a comic hero called the Karkus. Jamie and Zoe become fictional characters as the Doctor faces his nemesis, the Master of the Land f Fiction. In order to make Jamie and Zoe real again, the Doctor is asked to become the new Master of the Land of Fiction, hooked forever to the computer that keeps this unreal land in operation.
