Mawdryn
Leader of a group of alien thieves who stole a device from the Time Lords capable of regenerating tissue, effectively providing eternal life. However, the machine did no work on Mawdryn's group, instead leaving them in a perpetual state of mutating decay and regeneration. The thieves wanted to end their existence and Mawdryn passed as a newly regenerated Doctor to draw the real Doctor to his plight. The necessary power to help them die was supplied from the energy released after a confrontation between two Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart's from different times. Mawdryn was only in Mawdryn Undead. |
