Izlyr
The Ice Warrior representative of Mars on the planet Peladon when it king applied for membership of the Galactic Federation. Despite the Doctor's initial distrust of Izlyr's motives, the Ice Lord, along with his subordinate Ssorg, aided he Doctor in exposing the plot to discredit the Martian delegation by the delegate from Arcturus. Hepesh, the High Priest, threatened that the spirit of Aggedor would destroy them if they allowed Peladon to join the Federation. Izlyr was very surprised when the real chairman from Earth arrived, claiming knowledge of the Doctor, just as King Peladon of Peladon's coronation began. Izlyr was only in The Curse of Peladon. |
