The Image of Fendahl
Written by: Chris Boucher 1st Aired: 29 Oct 77-19 Nov 77 Companions: Leela, K9Location: Earth, contemporary At Fetch Priory, Dr. Fendelman and his scientists puzzle over a 12 million year-old skull, unaware that it stores the essence of an ancient and insatiable entity called the Fendahl. Fendleman' crude tim scanner has attracted he Doctor and Leela, but it has also activated the skull-which possesses Thea, one of the scientists. Max Stael, Fendleman's assistant and would-be warlock, tries to summon and control the power of the Fendahl using Thea as a conduit. Stael plays pays the ultimate price for his hubris, but he has loosed the Fendahl on an unsuspecting world. Once again, nothing stands between mankind and complete destruction except th ingenuity of the Doctor.
