The Ice Warriors

Location: Britain, circa 3000 A.D.

The Tardis arrives in a frozen England during a future Ice Age. The Ionizer at nearby Brittanicus Base is being used to hold back the ice, but it's barely working and th base computer recommends evacuation. A key technician, Penley, has quit, and Arden, an archaeologist turned geologist, is outside in the ice, excavating a frozen, reptilian humanoid of unknown origin. Leader Clent is impressed when the Doctor quickly solves the problem with the Ionizer. After Arden's find thaws, it comes to life and kidnaps Victoria. Nicknamed an Ice Warrior, the creature is a martian whose ship lost control thousands of years before. Forcing Victoria to help him, he frees and revives his cremates. When the Ice Warriors decide to conquer Earth for themselves the Doctor has a plan. But first he must surrender to his enemies.
