Genesis of The Daleks
Written by: Terry Nation 1st Aired: 8 Mar 75-12 Apr 75 Companions: Sarah Jane, HarryLocation: planet Skaro, date unknown The Time Lords divert the Doctor, Sarah and Harry to Skaro at the time of the creation of the Daleks.The Doctor accepts a mission to destroy the Daleks, find their weakness, or change their development so that they are not the unmitigated force for evil. The Doctor and Harry are captured by the Kaleds, but find an ally in Ronson, one of the scientific elite who are concerned about the experiments bing carried out by their chief scientist, Davros. Sarah is captured by the Thals, and made to work on a rocket with which to attack the Kaled dome. The attack succeeds thanks to Davros' treachery. As more Kaled scientists oppose Davros, the Doctor ponders: has he the right to destroy the Daleks? And why does Davros remain unworried by the opposition?
