A giant creature employed by the Company on Terminus to take people suffering from lazar's disease and cure them. The cure took place by mean of radiation therapy, in an area where the Vanir could not thrive. The Garm helped the Doctor stop Terminus destroying itself and in return, the Doctor destroyed the same control device, which he Vanir dominated him. Offered his complete freedom, the Garm remained on Terminus with Nyssa and some Vanir to continue helping lazar victim, while a cure was sought.
