The Evil of The Daleks
Written by: David Whitaker 1st Aired: 20 May 67-1 Jul 67 Companions: Jamie, VictoriaLocation: England, 1966 & 1866; planet Skaro In 1966, Doctor and Jamie find the Tardis stolen. The trail of clues leads to Victorian antique dealer Edward Waterfield. In his shop they find brand new Victorian antiques, a body on the floor, and a hidden room where Jamie accidentally sets off a trap. They awake in 1866 in the home of Theodore Maxtible, whose time travel experiments with Waterfield bring him to the Daleks. The Dalek's hold Waterfields daughter, Victoria, hostage, and want Jamie as a test subject. As Jamie rescues Victoria, the Daleks force the Doctor to operate a machine that is supposed to isolate the "human factor" from Jamie's reactions. But the Daleks have a second machine that creates the opposite: the Dalek factor. Jamie, Victoria, the Doctor, Maxtible and Waterfield are taken to Skaro, where Maxtible becomes the first Dalek-ized human.
