The Dæmons

Although the Doctor scoffs at the idea of magic, he becomes convinced that the opening of Devil's Hump is dangerous and tries to stop it. The professor is flash-frozen, and the Doctor nearly dies, when the barrow is opened in a terrible explosion of cold. Meanwhile, the new village vicar-the Master-is controlling most of the villagers. In an arcane ceremony, he summons a "daemon" who throws an impenetrable heat shield around the village, preventing UNIT from rescuing them. Can the Doctor fight science so advanced it appears to be magic?
