Colony in Space
Written by: Malcolm Hulke 1st Aired: 10 Apr 71-14 May 71 Companions: Jo GrantLocation: Exarius, 2472 The Time Lords take control of the Tardis and cause it to materialize, bearing the Doctor and Jo, at a Earth colony on the brink of disaster. With crops failing and people dying under suspicious circumstances, a representative of the Interplanetary Mining Corporation arrives, claiming that the IMC owns the mineral wealth of the planet. To resolve the conflict an Adjudicator is appointed-who turns out to be the Master. He knows that the planet's primitive natives are actually the remnants of a once highly-advanced civilization whose ferocious weaponry has not all crumbled into dust. Will the Doctor uncover his plan i time to stop him from black-mailing the universe?
