The Celestial Toymaker
Written by: Brian Hayles 1st Aired: 2 Apr 66-23 Apr 66 Companions: Steven, DodoLocation: Celestial Toyroom The Doctor, Steven and Dodo are lured outside of space and time by the Toymaker, a being who forces his captives to play games for his amusement. Winning all the games means regaining the Tardis and their freedom, but one false move could result in Steven and Dodo joining the Toymaker's collection of living dolls. As the mostly disembodied Doctor works his way through the trilogic game, his companions compete with clowns and card-playing people in a battle of wits and preserverance. But how can they win when the Toymaker and his minions keep cheating? And even if they do win, will the Toymaker let them go? the Doctor may still have a trick or two up his sleeve!
