Serpentine inhabitants of the planet Bandril, who were on the verge of war with their neighbours, the Kafelons. Karfel was under the control of the Magellan, the Borad, and trade agreements concerning grain shipments had broken down. Magellan wanted the Bandrils to launch an assault on Karfel using a warhead, which would kill the humanoid Karfelons but not himself or the Morlox. The Doctor deposed their trade agreements with the Bandrils.
